NL50: AKs in SB faces raise
I hate playing a raised pot OOP with AK but I also hate multi-way pots, so is a re-raise in order PF here? Villains are unknowns, this is early in the session.
Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) Hero (SB): $52.90 BB: $34.90 UTG: $44.15 MP: $60.60 CO: $7.85 BTN: $54.15 Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG folds, MP calls $0.50, CO folds, <font color="red">BTN raises to $1.50</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $5.00</font>, 2 folds, BTN calls $3.50 Flop: ($11) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, <font color="red">BTN bets $6.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $47.90</font>, BTN calls $41.90 Here I have 9-15 outs and want to see turn and river but is a push too much with this board? Or is this too villain dependent? How would you typically play this? Comments appreciated. |

Re: NL50: AKs in SB faces raise
I'd bet $7.50 on the flop and if he just calls I'm c/f a blank turn if he pushes because we will not be getting good odds to call. But I call anything less than a push. If he bets anything but a push I make a note that he's a monkey.
