basically they give you 1000 to play with of their money in one hour if you lose you lose their money if u win u keep it whats the catch?

You keep your winning as a bonus. Then you need to deposit to rollover the bonus. Read the T&C. Usually the max bonus is topped and their's game restriction.

You are limited to only 100 in bonus winnings with Palace Group freeplays. You must deposit 50 to receive that bonus, so the max bonus is 200%.
