NL25 A,K facing re-raise.
Bit sketchy on the details, hand history seems to have gone walkies.
Full Ring Game NL 0.15/0.25 I raised from mid position to $1 with A,K suited. Opponent in co seat re-raises $2.25 to $3.25. Folded back round to me. We both have full buy in stacks. Haven't been at the table long, but have played him before and know him to be TAG but capable of making plays and generally one of the better players at the table. I call, (I realize I probably have to push or fold) Flop comes Ah,2s,Jh. Pot $6.90 I check (?) Opponent bets $6. Opinions please and then i'll post the rest of the hand. |

Re: NL25 A,K facing re-raise.
After his pre-flop re-raise I narrowed his holding to A,K A,A (unlikely considering that would mean all 4 aces out) K,K Q,Q and possibly A,Q, I must admit no other hand occured to me.
With possible straight and flush possibilities on the board I check raised all-in. He called flipped over J,J and caught the 4th J on the turn. Could I have got away from this? |

Re: NL25 A,K facing re-raise.
Doesn't seem like you have any way to avoid going broke on this hand. You're gonna be put all-in on the river anyway.

Re: NL25 A,K facing re-raise.
If AQ is still in his range, you're still way ahead of his range on the turn if you now include JJ, I'm pretty sure. Poker stove it, or check out the combos and do the math.
