Default NL 50 - TPTK OOP, please critique this hand

Villain is 45/10/1.5 in 10 hands, so effectively almost no reads - but he's likely to be a fishy donk.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP1 ($106)
MP2 ($48)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

As played, I fold the river. I would play this hand slower to keep the pot down. Either check the flop or the turn.

I guess I am the only one that thinks this line is bad. There are some calling station donks that I would take this line with and expect to get called down with kq, kj, k10, 10-10, etc., but against good or tricky players (which I always assume an unknown is until proven otherwise -- perhaps a mistake on my part), I just feel this is playing the hand with our cards face up. Especially if you bet flop and check turn when you whiff this flop or have an underpair.

I most likely bet this flop. When called, villain has either a worse one pair hand, a set, a straight draw, two pair, or is floating. This is a pretty safe board.

The turn is pretty safe. I think a check maximizes earnings from all the worse hands and loses the least to the better hands. One pair hands are probably betting as are the floaters and monsters, but the monsters now think you can't beat tp, so they will not attack the pot. I like to disguise the strength of my one pair hands in these situations of wa/wb.

On the river, you can now b/f or c/c. I just don't see this flop and say "I think I can stack this guy or win a huge pot" and start firing away at it. Worse hands quickly get out on the turn (correctly) and better hands just float along letting you screw yourself. Seems like you either win a little or lose a lot (against good players). I typically try for a small to midsize pot with this hand (again, unless I know villain is a donk). Does he really just call with kq because he thinks he's beat but he wants to draw to his 3 or 5 outs so he can hit it on the river and raise you?

I think if you are behind, it happened on the flop or the turn, but not the river.

I think these are critical hands in your overall winrate status, so I am always looking to improve my play on them. It worries me that I am so far off the mark from everyone else here.
