10-25 NL middle set at the RIO
Effective stacks are $6200. I have been at the table for about an hour and villain just got back from a dinner break and we only have about a round and a half of history together. He's pretty young probably about 22-25 or so and like most young guns, aggressive as far as I can tell.
Mississippi Straddle is on and he raises first in UTG+1 after both blinds folds to $200. One cold call in middle and I cold call in cutoff with 55. Button folds. Flop ($685) As5s3h Villain checks, CC checks and I bet $300. Villain raises to $800 and CC folds. What's your move? |

Call. Get it in on a non [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] turn and hit your 1-outer against AA.

call without tanking at all, since that would be gross and obvious, then raise him on most turns. [/ QUOTE ] |

I may pop it to $2000 if it is one of the hyper aggressive types you are playing against, get him to shove here ?? Anyone like this ? [/ QUOTE ] No, hes going to fold basiclly anything to your turn raise so you might as well let him bet, cause hes probably folding to a reraise. I'd probably just gamble and call the turn, and hope no spade hits the river, if he leads into you for the pot again theres a good chance he has AA, and if he checks riv you can be the pot and represent busted spades. I think I like this way the best. |

I just called with the intention of raising the turn. I call the extra $500. Turn ($2285)4h Villain checks. What's your move now? |
