Default 54o BB Free Look Multiway

Party Poker 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 1 folds, CO calls, 1 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (7.00 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, CO calls, SB calls, Hero ???

Here I thought raise wes a good option, because my hand will come in 30% of the time by the river and since my pot equity was 13% I rased here, but this is the right option?

I like the hand, it's kind of a sweet draw with all those villains piling in. I still think I wait to hit it before I raise it. Raise wasn't a tragedy though.

Your pot equity is not 13% (and is indeed higher), so yes you should raise.

EDIT: I am also inclined to bet this flop pretty frequently.

Raise it up. I would probably bet the flop myself into a field of 7 though.

God I miss Party.

If the table has been really passive to go along with really loose I would bet this flop, I'd hate to see it get checked through. I like the c/r but it kind of ties you to betting the turn since you are out of position.

This is an easy raise. In closer situations, one thing to keep in mind is your postion to the aggressor, if you raise and he rereaises, other people might fold, which would effect your equity.

I think checking the flop was fine, because I'd be afraid of leading out, then having UTG raise me for isolation. After the check and people bet around to you, I raise for value.

sometimes I bet right out on the flop and sometimes check and see who is going to bet. if guys to act right after me are more aggressive I'm more inclined to check. the goal here is to get as many bets in as possible whilst still getting paid off when we make our draw.
