Default 1000 NL... How about some hardcore?

I'm on a loaner so no PT stats.

Villain just sat down but I have a note on him that says reasonable from a previous session. That can mean a bunch, but he's not crazy.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (6 handed) converter

Hero ($3914.25)
CO ($937)
Button ($1995.50)
SB ($1022.50)
BB ($1000)
UTG ($3653.88)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to $35, 3 folds, BB calls $25.

Flop: ($75) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $70, BB raises to $190, Hero calls $120.

Turn: ($455) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $275, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $730

On the flop I still like my chances and was waiting for a safe turn to get it in and pick up another bet from the villain.

Should I have 3-bet the flop, not folded the turn, or done something else?

I like your play on the turn because I either put him on a better hand off the flop or someone who is trying to make a play with the flush draw. In either case, you hand is worse on the turn and a fold is merrited. I woudlnt have 3bet the flop because he is not going to fold. You said he was reasonable and you might as well get more information. A bet of 70 is a strong bet and I do not think he would try to come over the top. Plus if he has the flush draw with two overs he may look at his odds around 50%. He will not fold that or a better hand on the flop. Once again, I think you played it right

Seems like a pretty standard fold.
