Default Bounty tournaments at Cake

Has anyone tried the bounty tournaments at Cake? (They take half your buyin and put it on your head as a bounty)
How profitable are they compared to a regular tournament? Do you adjust your play for them?

Thanks.

Default Re: Bounty tournaments at Cake

I have been wondering about bounty tournies myself. Off the top of my head, I would think that the optimal strategy changes in that you should be more willing to stack off lightly. Laggy play is valued more than in normal tounaments. I guess this format will allow players who adjust to gain value from players who cannot/will not adjust. However, it is possible that the normal Cake players will automatically "adjust" so that their play in bounty tournaments is more correct than their play in non-bounty tournies. How this plays out in actual results needs to be determined empirically.
