Re: playing aces :3 options tell me which and why you choose
Personally, I would either call or move AI - if you make a small R/R instead of AI, you are playing with your cards face up. Everybody will know exactly what you have (maybe KK, but you know what I am saying).
In your situation (not a great chip position), I would be more inclined to take a chance and play for stacks - that is, call. If you are lucky, the small stack will R/R and you can over-shove. |

Why not 1200 and shove flop?

Re: playing aces :3 options tell me which and why you choose
Call, it's a good spot to induce a squeeze, and the veryshortstack has enough to open the action back up when its get to you if he pushes. It's not ideal, you could end up 4 handed, and in fact I'd shove KK here but I think I call AA. This assumes its just a typical online donkament and it doesnt matter that I wouldnt ever flatcall any other hand.

Re: playing aces :3 options tell me which and why you choose
If the Button is decent at all he should know he has no FE here and won't try a squeeze. If he shoves he has a hand and with how short he is I don't think his shoving range is that much wider than his calling range.

Why not 1200 and shove flop? [/ QUOTE ] Because, with your stack, that's just saying "I have rockets, please call me". |

Re: playing aces :3 options tell me which and why you choose
Buttons calling range might not be wider but the blinds will push wider than they'll call I think, and in an ideal world the initial raiser will call that wider as well if we just call. My point about the button was there's a decent chance he'll shove his chips in, and even if it just folds to the initial raiser who must call+, you then have the option to raise, which is useful.
