Default 100 NL set of 7s

didn look how to use hand converter yet.

Me and Villain both got full stack (100)- 6 handed
Villain is very tight, havent seen him open raise utg with less then AQo TT+ . Cant read much on the size of the bet, everyone on the table seems to raise potsize by standard regardless of the Hand (its at everest)

Villain raises to $3.50 UTG
I call with 77 on the Button
SB folds
BB calls

Flop 73J Rainbow
Villain leads for $6
Because of the favorable Board i decide just to call.
BB folds

Turn 5 , a diamond draw too

At this point i think Villain has AJ, rather KK+, i think he had bet more with QQ. I dont think he C-Bet OOP with a smaller pair, AK or less.

Villain checks

I dont like the check because it likely means he does not have what i guess, but id still like to see AA.

Pot is now $23 - I bet $8 to get a reaction and draw him in in case he has Overcards.

Villain raises to $20 - at this point and with that dry a board i think this must be either AA or JJ. But its somehow still likely its AJ, QQ, KK and well i dont get of my hand and push.

He had JJ and my question is, after his reraise i strongly opted that he had that and if i could get a relatively cheap showdown (i guess its possible since i didn show too much strength yet and he would be scared to loose value) , would i loose ev trying - even if him holding worse hands is maybe possible?

a set on that board is the nuts. i'd be happy getting it in on any street here and if he has JJ then he has JJ.

ps your post was horribly difficult to read.

1. Don't post results.
2. Raise flop! He's not folding QQ+, AJ here, you're going to lose value if some scare card comes (like another J if he has KK or something)
3. As played, bet more on turn.
4. Wouldn't villain play overpair like this too? I shove and don't feel bad about it. You have the second nuts.

i disagree about raising the flop. villain has overcards and stuff like 88-TT a lot here and we're just gonna fold those hands out.

sorry for the difficult read. its been my 1st post yet and my english is not too well either.

the question is, if i somehow could reduce his range to JJ, KK , AA as he played the check-raise on the turn would a push still be +ev?

But not QQ?

There are 3 combinations of JJ, and 18 of QQ+. You are 82% vs. [AA-JJ]
