Default Why\'d they write a book about Stu Ungar?

I just read his book "one of a kind".... after reading it the only way i could describe this guy was LOSER. this guy isn't worthy of no book in his honor. the guy was a loser in all faucets of life. no life control, no BR managment, ect. here's why they wrote the book. HE WAS BROKE AGAIN IN 98 WHEN THEY WERE WRITING IT AND NEEDED MONEY!!!

It's not that he was bad at ALL faucets, it's just that he was tapped out a lot, although his life definitely did go down the drain eventually. Oh well, water you gonna do.

the book really gives a bad reputation for the whole game of poker also.

also, his wife didn't give a [censored] about him. she was a money hungry hoe who came back when in need of the green... money that is. she acted nice in the book just to cash in on the books profits.

You are a moron. The guy is the best tournament poker player of all time. So what if he was a junkie? Kurt Cobaine died because he was a junkie, that doesn't make him a loser. They couldn't control their demons, but you are a moron. Go die in a grease fire.

You obviously missed the moral of the book which in a nutshell is "man's inhumanity to man". One may look deeper and make the supposition that Unger was just a pawn used by the ogliarchs to further the symbolic deconstrution of capitalism throughout western Europe.

It's kindainteresting to think about what he would have been like if he was still alive. I think he would have probably been a mix of Phil H and Mike the Mouf. Except probably better at poker.
