My opponent got ultra good cards; big pocket pairs or high suited cards and has flopped or turned the nuts a couple of times. So he's been raising me quite a few times. When he flopped the nuts after my preflop raise, he waited for me to c-bet and just called a couple of times. I had the feeling he was pretty aggro but I think that's mainly because he ran hot Then this hand: PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (2 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) BB (t1150) Hero (t1850) Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises to t90, BB calls t60. Is this a standard raise because he looks weak? Or should I just wait for a better opportunity? Should I be happy to get away from the hand cheaply? |

if you raise here to 360ish and he pushes you are getting close to being committed
just fold the flop and wait for a better spot than this |

villains line is weak, but they often won't fold to a raise as they may have hit a small piece of the flop and decide to push over the top.

I really hate these plays. I know they often don't have anything, but I haven't either.
I folded and he showed QTo. The next hand I busted him when he went all-in against my full-house. |
