Default get cute --> tricky decision

This guy literally just sat down, don't know anything about him. I just called the flop b/c I felt he was weak and I figured I would be able to take the pot away at will and potentially have him bluff off some money.

yes because an over + fd draw is not a made hand and part of its value rests in the FE or implied odds it has, and u already admitted you think u have fe....so put it to use

is it just me or does it feel like villain is trying to make u fold??? he is giving the impression he is very strong whether he is or not is another question... his river bet doesnt seem to be for value imo...

I dunno. I kind of think you played it okay. That c-bet looks really suspicious IMO. Looks like he's begging for a raise so he can push in. You're getting great odds for your flush obv. so I like the call. Tough to fold that turn with the ace and FD, and now it's just a crappy spot on the river. I don't really fault any part of the hand, whether you called or folded the river.

Tough spot, whats his range? TT+ AQ, AK? we're ahead of only tens thru queens. Calling all the way down, we really don't know anything about his hand, so it's one of those either or spots. Either he's trying to get you to fold a busted FD, or he hit a set of kings and hopes you had the NFD and paired your ace.

I think i call, ur hand looks like a flush draw the whole way and he may be three barreling with worse. Nothing about ur play indicates, you pay off the river shove. I think you should of raised the flop for sure, at the worse you probably get the turn for free or he shoves and we can fold.

if we were ever considering calling the all-in on the river, why didn't we shove the turn to begin with?

Well villain can shove river as a bluff, he cant call a turn raise as a bluff ):?
ALso villain probably isnt going to shove river with a hand that beat us but are not that good

I think I call that river, it is probably a bluff a good number of times he either has something silly like three kings or nothing )L:
