I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only person in town. It shouldn't be tough to find a male escort.

I would feel pretty lame unless there was a bar area where it was appropriate to dine. But I will be interested to see what others with more LV experience think.

First time I went to LV I wasn't palling around with many people who would be interested in such stuff and I wasn't really that restaurant-aware to begin with.
Couldn't wait to get out there again with my GF to try out some of the places though. Was recommended places like Nobu and Delmonico's and we enjoyed them very much. But I still don't think I'd feel comfortable doing them solo.

I sometimes go for nice lunches by myself, but I bring a book.

do nicer places serve food at the bar? if so, do that.

does croaking mean you were winning big?

totally fine. chat up the bartenders or other people at the bar.

sitting at a table alone would be a little weird at a nice place since reading a book would be weird. plus since it's vegas you might end up meeting someone cool to hang out with tonight, if you're so inclined.
