Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
UTG ($208.55) MP ($112.15) Button ($197) SB ($217.80) Hero ($172.30) Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $15</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $13, MP calls $11. Flop: ($46) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font> Final Pot: $46 ARGHH. . . do i reraise out of position or call and hope he'll donk away chips to me if a forunate flop comes out? i feel like i'm so -EV in this situation i could cry-- theres probably no general answer so in this situation button raiser is probably a 38/12/3, aggressive but has some vague understanding of position |

Re: ak out of position vs button raiser
Fold preflop. For me especially without reads (and sometimes even with them!) in this OOP spot it goes fold > raise > cold-call. And I would almost always fold JJ or less here fwiw.
Generally only get involved in a spot like this if there is a lot of dead money. For example in a 6 handed game with 100bb: MP opens, CO 3-bets and a donk BU CC's, you should almost always push with AK. EDIT: Oh gay I didn't notice the stack sizes. I still think it's a fold, if not a 4-bet. |

you're [censored] short stacked push pf [/ QUOTE ] They didn't open to $8 and 3bet to $32-$36 or something like that. The 3-bet in this hand is $15. Pretty sure pushing is way over the top here... |
