Live tournament ethics question

I'm UTG and short stacked. I fold. During the hand, the BB gets eliminated.
On the following hand, instead of making me post the BB with a dead small, the dealer has me post small (and the guy to my left big). Nobody notices or cares. Should I stand up and say "wait, it's my big blind"?
