NLCASH Spewing like a [censored] in July, need some reprimands
Here are a couple of hands that I'm just curious about. The first ones are clear misplays imho.
Hand #1 Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) BB: $104.00 Hero (SB): $99.40 Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.00</font>, BB calls $2.00 Flop: ($6) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 (2 Players) BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $4.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $11.00</font>, Hero calls $7.00 Turn: ($28) 9 (2 Players) BB checks, Hero checks River: ($28) Q (2 Players) BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $17.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises all-in to $90.00</font>, Hero calls all-in for $68.40 Uncalled bet of $4.60 returned to BB Pot Size: $198.80 ($0.50 Rake) - I don't mind checking the turn here some of the time but the river is obviously a bet/fold here, agree? Hand #2 Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) BB: $98.05 Hero (SB): $123.40 Preflop: Hero is dealt A Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.00</font>, BB calls $2.00 Flop: ($6) Q 4 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $4.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $8.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $15.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $50.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $120.40</font>, BB calls all-in for $45.05 Uncalled bet of $0.00 returned to Hero Turn: ($196.10) A (2 Players - 2 All-In) River: ($196.10) 7 (2 Players - 2 All-In) Pot Size: $196.10 ($0.50 Rake) - Villain in this hand was absolutely terrible and passive, he was extremely easy to read and a huge station, in hindsight I can't believe I did this. The hand is WP up until after the 3bet, once he 4bets this ia fold vs this guy. Juck. Hand #3 Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) Hero (BB): $175.85 SB: $51.60 Preflop: Hero is dealt A A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB calls $0.50, <font color="red">Hero raises to $4.00</font>, SB calls $3.00 Flop: ($8) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $5.00</font>, SB calls $5.00 Turn: ($18) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $12.00</font>, SB calls $12.00 River: ($42) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, <font color="red">SB bets all-in for $30.60</font>, Hero calls $30.60 Pot Size: $103.20 ($0.50 Rake) Same villain as in hand #2 Hand #4 Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) BB: $92.60 Hero (SB): $105.00 Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.00</font>, BB calls $2.00 Flop: ($6) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 (2 Players) BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $4.00</font>, BB calls $4.00 Turn: ($14) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $11.00</font>, BB calls $11.00 River: ($36) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $20.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $40.00</font>, Hero calls $20.00 Pot Size: $116.00 ($0.50 Rake) - Pretty standard right? Crappy river but still value to get from JT-KJ, can you fold AJ here getting close to 5:1? |

Re: NLCASH Spewing like a [censored] in July, need some reprimands
hand 1 I bet the turn, probably go broke if hes got a boat or better trips (not that you should, just what I usually seem to do)
hand 4 I check behind on river hands 2&3 bad for the reasons you gave |

Re: NLCASH Spewing like a [censored] in July, need some reprimands
Hand 1 I bet turn. If raised I'll go allin against most opponents, fold only against very passive opponents.
Hand 2 call flop bet and re-evaluate on turn. If you decide to 3-bet to find where you are then you must fold after opponent 4-bets. Hand 3 I bet more on flop and turn. After two psb the river will be easy allin and the opponent doesn't get good odds to call and implied odds are severely reduced too. Hand 4 I check behind against most opponents. |

Re: NLCASH Spewing like a [censored] in July, need some reprimands
1- agree w/ the above 2.
2- if you're gonna 3b here dont price in the fd, given your read fold to 4b. agree w/ kharlog about calling vs straightforward passive players. 3- i just shove the river, you lose to the flush anyway and hes not gonna turn random pps into a bluff here. 4- i like a slightly bigger vb on the river, folding to a raise unless you have a good reason to do otherwise. the board texture is good for him to slowplay a big hand and hes making a small raise when you've shown a good amt of strength so far. but agree that the river is definitely a bet. |

All of these are more dependent on the opponent that anything else. against unknowns.
Hand 1 - bet turn Hand 2 - ugh, call his c/mraise and play or 3bet fold etc Hand 3 - I normally bet this river Hand 4 - fine. sometimes fold to raise. |

Re: NLCASH Spewing like a [censored] in July, need some reprimands
In hand number 3, I agree with the poster who says you have to bet more. If you're going to pay off on the river even when the flush comes on the paired board with a straight possibility and the passive player bets all in, then you have to charge the flush and straight draws more on the flop and turn. I'm not having a go at the river call, btw, I think that's probably close. But my point is that if we're getting our chips in even after this close to worst case scenario board has fallen, we might as well do it earlier in the hand and cut down on villain's implied odds.
