Against a TAG player I would fold. But why would he bet 700 on the turn when a duce hits? Unless he was slow playing a pair of kings. I would raise a little higher to around 300-320 PF. Cbet on the flop was good, but if he is TAG then I would let it go on the turn. If he was LAG and had any reads I would check call it down.

I think your small bet on the flop and check on the turn quite possibly induced a bluff. I think a stronger bet on the flop would have given you a better idea of where you stood on the turn and maybe would have saved you a call there. In that case, you spent money to save money.
I think a mid pair is a possibility, but if he's really a rock then check fold on turn is ok. |
