stupid question: do hard drives come with operating systems on them
i have a case that needs a new harddrive along with a new power supply and ive never bought anything that wasnt already prepackaged.
if not will i have to buy xp to install it or can i use the cd key from my old computer to work with it?

n00b edit: no, dude, not unless it specifies that it's preloaded [/ QUOTE ] yeah i dont know anything really on the technical [censored] of building pc's. i tried hooking up one of the old harddrives i had from an old pc in the closet and it just kept blue screening me right as its starting. guess im off to bestbuy to be made fun of the minimum wage nerds who work their electronics section.
