Is it just me, or has anyone else experienced a greater than normal negative side of variance over the past month?

Me too. Between the two of us some 2+2ers must be cleaning up, you know to balance out the universe...

Seriously what is the point of this post? Variance is a way of life in MTTs and you are frequently going to be on the ass end of it. Get used to it and don't post stuff like this in the future.

How about you suck my donk?

I recall many posts about a year ago when tons of 2+2ers were on downswings... I was wondering if this seems to be an annual thing and if anyone else was going through big downswings.

By the way, more sample than your lousy few months of playing. This past month has been my worst ever... down over $1K, and I'm a low buyin type.

mikey,

I've tracked variance over the last 2+ years... this is no where near the numbers I've ever seen, yet I've been playing a decent game. I was wondering if anyone has seen greater than normal negative variance at this time of year, such as the big downswings 12 months ago.

So you basically want someone to tell you that they lose a lot too so you'll be happy? Just work on your game. Donks are a good thing, don't forget that.

Sorry if I came off as too condescending but seriously consider your post and what if does (or doesn't) offer.

On a forum this size of course there are going to be a lot of people that are on significant downswings. If you are suggesting that it is some kind of cycle it becomes even more ridiculous.

And I don't want to here u going off about my sample size of "a few months of playing" when you honestly have no idea how long I've been playing.

This post offers nothing constructive to the MTT forum and would fit better in BB&V as it has nothing specific to MTTs.

Once again sorry if I come off as a jerk but I don't know any other way to respond.

In january I only cashed in one tournament on pokerstars... ONE tournament, and I played almost every night. It was a bad month, you'll rebound, don't worry.

This should be moved to the BBV forum.

If you can't beat them, you are one.
