Best place to work out while at WSOP ?

Slightly OT, I know, but it got barely any response in the health and fitness forum, so i thought I'd try a more Vegas-specific place:

I stayed at the Rio a couple weeks ago, and their gym was an absolute joke. Think of your standard weak-ass hotel gym with a few treadmills and a Universal...it's a couple notches up from that, but barely. I was pretty disappointed all in all.
Went to the Venetian gym after, and that was a really nice place -- but also pricey >> $35 / day.

Any suggestions? Gonna be back in LV for another week...is there something in between those two extremes? e.g. good free-weight selection for like $75 / week or something?

I stayed at the Wynn for five days in October. They had a very nice fitness room ... only $20 a day if you're staying there.

there's a nice facility in henderson with squash, racquetball, basketball, a pool, tennis

i joined a boxing gym for a few weeks

maybe look into a normal gym off the strip. im sure you can beat the las vegas strip prices and probably enjoy a better gym.

Las Vegas Athletic Clubs

$35 a week or $15 a day. The one I go to, it's on Eastern a few miles southeast of the strip, is amazing. It's easily the best gym I've ever been to. Open 24 hours, tons of weights, tons of machines, pool, health/food bar, pool, lots of hot chics, and not insanely crowded.

my monthly gym dues are less than that...not very only imo.

any vegas hotels that dont charge you to use the gym? I know some hotel stay and play packages give you 1 free spa/gym pass, but do any offer more than 1?

You can work out for free at 24-hour Fitness. There is one on Decatur/Tropicana and near Valley View/Dessert Inn (3 minutes ride from the Rio).

The one on Decatur/Tropicana is SUPERIOR to the second one. But its around 7 minutes away from the Rio by taxi.
