Default WPEX RB policy change (kinda LC as well)

GAWD Im furiousss.

wpex is gonna cut the RB to 75% . Realizing that 75% aint bad I still wonder who is going to stick with them. Other sites give huge RB figures as well and they are WAY softer.

As for me, Im gonna keep playing there cause of the uNL HU cashgames (which are excellent ofcourse ^^).

Worst thing is, I even saw it coming. No way the casino/sbetting people who got there via the pokerroom make up for the lost rake of 600 people every minute.

Who is gonna stick with them? What games do you play?

ALSO: How do you _SAY_ wpex (ie when talking to friends)? For weird reasons the English language decided to be gay about the pronounciation of the letter "w" making every abbreviation containing a "w" essentially worthless.

So after hours and hours of careful consideration me and my friend decided to call it "pex".

This is pretty rough news for HU NL cash players. The HU NL rake at WPX is capped at $1, compared to $.50 at Full Tilt (not to mention rakeback, FTPs, Iron Man, more fish, etc.).

Certain people in the Internet forum have suggesting this for a while, with the idea that WPX would use the extra money to advertise and bring in new players. Now that it's happened, does anyone have predictions about if and when these new players will start to pour in?

So 75% rake at 1 dollar cap will turn into the equivalent of what % RB at a .50 cent cap site?

In terms of microstakes HU NL cash, please.

Thank god I was too busy to deposit 300+ this weekend, if this turns out to make HU NL cash games not worth it that would have truly sucked (considering they do not allow transfers).

If the rake is capped, it would be equivalent to 50% rakeback at a 50-cent cap site. If you're earning a bonus at Full Tilt, you're getting better than 50%. If not, WPX is better rake-wise, but you're missing some of the benefits I mentioned earlier.

Based on my HU cash experience at WPX so far, about 65% of my opponents have been competent TAGs, and about 35% have been weak and/or juicy. How does that compare to HU cash on FT (NL100)?

Ok, so if it compares to about 50% rb on a FTP type structure, is it still worth it to play the micro HU NL limits they offer? I'd imagine it is not worth it to play levels like 10NL or 20NL, but it may be worth it for something like 50NL on that site.

If this ends up being the case, then I don't think it is worth depositing money on there to soley play 50NL when I can deposit 2x the amount of money and play on FTP 100NL and know there are fishy games with plenty of players. I also know if I build my roll on FTP the HU games get progressively higher with solid populations at each level.

Basically that is what I'm wondering, is it still profitable to play 10 and 20NL HU on this site or is 50NL the bare minimum where a solid HU player can profit reasonably?

In my small experience of WPEX (pronounced wuhp-ex) micro cash games the players have been mega soft and very tilt happy.

75% rake sucks since it means playing 0 (or uncertain) expectation HU matches with friends won't be so attractive.

If it brings in the players it might be worth it, but I doubt it.

calling it pex is obviously wrong.

Wh -pex is the way to go.

also wuhp -ex is also incorrect.
