I doubt he would call a raise here without a boat, maybe some will with a King/Queen clubs. If you do raise and he 4bets, I'd hate to have to fold the nut flush. Just call this.

Against this villain, I like a smallish raise on the river (9-10) which allows you to basically force villain to pay off w/ smaller flush (he'd prob fold to larger raise) while allowing you escape cheaply if he check-raises (which, based on stats, would almost certainly mean a boat).

The pot is extremely small at this point. I don't think raising is worth it. What kind of hand is he completing in the SB with -and- is calling the turn -but- will call a river raise -where- hero is ahead?

Maybe something like Q9/K9 with the big club but that's about it. Everything else is folding to a raise (that you beat), and hands like 88 with 1 club would probably raise preflop.

Even if something like 88 completes, what happens if he re-raises the river here thinking the odds of you having a big club are very slim. Now you get pushed off the hand.

I'm minraising this river. The curiosity factor will get most smaller flushes to call and very few at this level will 3bet bluff in this spot.

PT stats are not reads.

I like a raise to $8-10, i think you'll get called enough here to make it +EV. If we get 3bet AI then i have nfi what to do, it's probably a fold but I'd have a tough time laying it down.

I can't picture this villain completing in the SB w/ 99 or 77; maybe 44 or 22. I can picture him completing with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J or K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 or even 97s.

There is no way I'm folding this hand, I either call or raise and I probably just call b/c I'm not sure a weaker hand will call a raise on this board.

i just smooth called and he showed k[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]x. i felt kinda weak. all depends on the player, if hes decent i dont mind calling at all. but i htink against an unknown i really like a minraise
