I flopped bottom set on an exciting looking board in first hand of sng and as it turned out I think any action on the turn would have had the same result.
My question is am i right to try and milk this for all its worth or should i have played it aggressively to narrow the field instead of trying to be clever? check - shove it on turn since if someone has a king he will call you anyways

Lead full pot on the flop - you have 5 opponents on a draw heavy board - with enough callers in between a gutshot has reason to stay in. Betting 120 isn't going to fold out any more hands than 100.
Lead the turn reasonably strong - 2/3 pot or so. This is way less likely to scare an A off than a checkraise and Ks aren't folding so make them pay to hit their kicker. Someone might even figure it's worth seeing the river with their flush draw. Milking it? With 4 people calling a decent-sized flop bet, all you need to think about is how to get all the money in. Milking it IS playing it strong here. The only way you're likely to scare anyone off is check-raising the turn. Oh ... |
