Default bankroll management and winrate

how do you manage you bankroll in plo? Can you use the same numbers like in nlhe? And what about the winrate? What is a realistic winrate?

Im no expert on plo, but I know that just because the swings are higher - in general you will need a larger BR in terms of buyins. Standard for NLHE is ~20 or so? Ive heard people say 40-50 buyins is a good plo bankwad. It all depends on how comfortable you are at the table: if you have a high winrate then your BR requirements decrease, and vice versa. Im playing 1/2 PLO now on bodog with ~4k, and it seems very adequate. If your just starting out I highly recommend to be overrolled for whatever limit you play. When I first started playing PLO, despite doing very well at plo8, I would completely donk off buyin after buyin.

It is going to vary wildly depending on your opponents. There isn't anywhere near as big a difference between tight and wild NLHE games as there are in PLO. Certain games on certain sites the players are so passive and predictable I am very comfortable and my ROR is very low with 20BI. Other games on the same site I feel I need 50 or more.

Start with 40, see how you do over 20-30K hands then review.

1)don't tilt
2)no
3)you'll run hot for 2 weeks, consider this game the easiest ever, lose a few buyins, tilt off everything else
4)see above

Can a good player make 15BB/100 at the lower stakes (PLO100 and lower)?

If BB is big blinds, definitely.

If it's poker tracker big bets, then only the very, very best or at the very lowest stakes.

So for Blinds 1 cent two cent you guys would suggest $160?

I think if you give a guy who knows the rules and can fold second nuts easily like $30, he would easily build up a BR from Microstakes.
