Default 50NL Flush on river faces allin

No reads, but it just smells like 10's full after the river allin. What would you do? And yes preflop call was kinda spewy by me. Hard to fold the flush.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $53.25
BB: $22.30
Hero (UTG): $66.90
BTN: $46.25

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
Hero raises to $2.00, BTN raises to $6.00, 2 folds, Hero calls $4.00

Flop: ($12.75) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($12.75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($12.75) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $7.00, BTN raises all-in to $40.25 Hero ?????

Pot Size: $93.25 ($2 Rake)

Results in white.

I call, after timing out. Should've gone with my instinct and folded. BTN has a fullhouse 10's full of 6's.

In limit, once Button checks the flop behind, he'll have TT (or 66 or 55) like 90 percent of the time. (It's one of those interesting spots where a check is much scarier than a bet.)

In NL, it's not TT 90 percent, because, overall, people don't c-bet as automatically. But it's still a popular slowplay, and that river push is a really bad sign, and I think you should have folded to it.

I think you can find a fold here.
Villain is definetly not a worse flush, as he wasn't 3b'ing QhJh, and I imagine something like 7h8h would have bet the turn. Most overcard/overpair 3b hands would have C-bet the flop. You have $13 invested into the pot, which is still a decent amount, but the overbet after two check is usually a pretty good giveaway.
And don't post results.

Fold pf. Once you get to the river theres no folding it, he kinda played it like AK actually.

Hmm, yeah that is true. It's possible I was being overly influenced by two things: (1) having the results sitting there in front of me , and (2) the fact that this particular slowplay is such a goddamn donk-standard way to play top set on the flop in limit hold'em (and I was a limit player a lot longer than I've been a NL player).

I mean, in limit, Villain is going to have a set practically always when he checks this flop.

Seriously OP, what you should take from this thread is that if you fold pf you arent in this situation. Calling the 3bet pf OOP with this hand is a leak.
