Default 25NL line check in a RR pot

This guy seemed like a bad tag, probably has a small understanding of poker, but not a winning player. I am not sure if this is the best way to play this hand. all info appreciated.

I likes... AK folds, and overpairs will let you know your behind.
Could check behind on turn, but SB will likely refire then, and any card other higher than a 7 makes it a tough call.

I like it. You can't check behind on the turn here because of all the overcards. if he calls, you shouldn't invest another dime, though.

does anybody like a raise on the flop, to protect the hand and take it down there. I think all overs would fold and 1010+ would shove, that way someone with just overs(AQ,AK,etc.) does not get to see the turn.

The board is all small so AK, AQ will often take a card off, because they want to hit, bet a high card or just put you on a bluff, IME. A "float" (you are probably value-betting here) is often better, because if he has unpaired hole cards, his equity is far lower with only one card to come and you don't escalate the pot early in the hand and you can give him an opportunity to show weakness before you put more money into the pot.

And btw: AK, AQ will often think that it has 10 outs here, which is actually correct against your hand.

I prolly fold flop because you're behind a cbetting range at this point I think.

If your counting 4 fours as outs for AK / AQ this is incorrect because a 4 gives hero a higher straight (2 to 6)
