Default $100/200 6 max

Party Poker 100.00/200.00 Hold'em (6 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls.

River: (9.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Final Pot: 11.25 BB.

Does anyone ever fold anything in these games? Seems like you can make a ton just playing tight ABC.

standard? dont always 3bet the flop though, i'd usually wait till the turn in this situation. not sure wtf he was doing calling your 3bet and donking the turn.

i raised flop because i noticed that guys will check-raise this flop with hands like 44, and then still call down with them all the way to the river.

Kane,

the problem with raising hands like A3o UTG 5 handed is bad implied odds. You will get a bunch of folds when you hit an ace, but a bunch of weak pairs will call down when you miss your ace, and it will put you in a bunch of bad spots.

Also, getting 3bet by CO or BTN will really suck.

About the flop line, it is good to mix it up. Occasionally call and pop the turn, occasionally 3bet. Just make sure your hands don't become too easily read.

very very easily it can be bad. simply assume K5o is the bottom of his range.

There are 3 guys behind you, so the defending standards of the BB matter like just partly.

Yeah, people don't fold much. Wait til you start missing flop after flop. It's only sweet when you're making hands.

baronzeus completely nailed it. Classic reverse implied odds and you have still have players to act behind you preflop.

yup. lhe is easy.
1)raise utg with [censored] cards in a very tough game and flop trips.
2)cash out lots.
