First post- KK facing all in flop raise
Hi all, this is my first post- so please be nice!
what would you do in this fairly common spot? Game #4186098383: Hold'em NL (£0.15/£0.25) - 2007/05/23 - 17:40:54 (UK) Table "MissVicky" Seat 2 is the button. Seat 2: Vvjawsvv sits out Seat 3: co007 (£20.52 in chips) Seat 4: Jon100912 (£20.19 in chips) Seat 5: bebeto (£25 in chips) Seat 6: 1out1der (£22.45 in chips) co007: posts small blind £0.15 Jon100912: posts big blind £0.25 Pwnage joins the table at seat #1 bebeto: posts big blind £0.25 Pwnage: posts big blind £0.25 ----- HOLE CARDS ----- dealt to 1out1der [Ks Kc] bebeto: checks 1out1der: raises to £1.50 Pwnage: calls £1.25 co007: calls £1.35 Jon100912: folds bebeto: folds ----- FLOP ----- [6s 9c 7c] co007: checks 1out1der: bets £3.50 Pwnage: raises to £23.50 and is all-in villain runs at a very nitty 16/3, no particular history. I folded this hand, because his raise screams set/straight- i don't think he ever has a draw or bluff here and two pair is unlikely given his pre-flop stats. what troubled me when i looked at this recently is how often does he have TT-QQ? |

Re: First post- KK facing all in flop raise
At these limits, I think you can play KK as it was AA. I do, and most of the times it works

Re: First post- KK facing all in flop raise
why couldn't he have a draw here? huge overbets often indicate draws at these stakes. I think you're good against his range unless you really know him. People do this crap with A7 against a pre-flop raiser.
also, the mantra around here is that PFR should be to 4BB + 1/limper.. so raising to $1 (1 pound) is good |

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...=47#Post7385526 Hand in question you can probably let it go if you feel that the person is a nitty 16/3 player (whats the post flop agg?). You dont have alot invested, and folding is not a bad option. He basically is letting you off early in this hand. |
