Default Checkup: two QQ hands

Would appreciate some comments on the following, largely to see how clear-cut the decisions are in these hands. I will omit my actions for now.

Hand 1: I have played less than one orbit at this table. Villain is a complete unknown (almost certainly not a reg). Note we are ~135BBs deep.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($834)
UTG ($357)
MP ($805.75)
CO ($971.05)
Button ($611)
SB ($135.90)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $18</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $66</font>, CO calls $48.

Flop: ($135) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $72</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $186</font>

Thoughts on folding, re-raising, or calling here? If we just call are we happy to stack off later or are we folding to further heat?

================================================== ==========

Hand 2: Villain is zio_slim, he's a fairly nitty 18/13, haven't played with him in several weeks but from what I remember he doesn't particularly get out of line. I'm running around 24/20 and abusing my button as usual.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($582)
SB ($747.50)
BB ($748.85)
UTG ($626.05)
MP ($1152.15)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $21</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $69</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $48.

Flop: ($144) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $105</font>, Hero calls $105.

Turn: ($354) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($354) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $573.5 (All-In)</font>

Fine so far? Do we ever call this river?

1) you have to call the flop raise as you led weak. i think reraising vs an unknown is spewy, but folding is bad. you are ahead here a lot, but not when all his chips go in. re-evaluate the turn.

2) fine so far, fold the river vs opponent described

hand one i am for sure calling the flop to re-evaluate the turn. hand two you are never ahead enough to justify a call so i say auto-muck

Hand 1- i shove- often this is to fold out AK and AQ (your most likely holdings)... it looks like more of a steal raise

Hand 2- 4bet preflop to $225 and call shove. As played fold river... rest of hand wuz played ok

1) i just call the raise and probably get it in on a safe turn

2) easy fold vs this guy.

Hand one I call the flop and he shoves a Th turn.

Hand two I agree its a fold against this specific villain, but I think my range becomes quite narrow based on the flop call and turn check and so I always wind up second-guessing myself in those spots, since I don't think theres any hand I can call with on this river that I would play this way?!
