Default 1-2 nl turn and overbet river bluffing gone wrong

utg+1 has been limping in a lot preflop and he is on loose/passive side, no read on bb. hero has (5h 8h)

utg+1 ($133)limps in and so as hero($280)in cutoff and button, and only bb($177) sees the flop.(4ppl)

flop (3d 6h Ah)
utg+1 bets $8 and both hero and bb calls.(3ppl)

turn (3d 6h Ah 9c)
utg+1 checks and hero bets $24 and both calls.

river(3d 6h Ah 9c Qs)
utg+1 checks and hero moves all in and bb calls his remaining $143, then utg+1 folds.

i may have overbet the river(about $100 in the pot), instead should i have bet like 80?
i thought about checking the turn to get a free card since i had a lot of outs but felt like no one had anything big so decided to bet to take the pot. but since they all called i figured they would have weak ace or draws so i decided to bet big so weak ace would fold.
