Default Turned a set of nines

Hero 99 in SB

4 limpers, i call, bb checks

Flop 5-7-10 rainbow

everyone checks

turn 9 (no flush draw)

i check, LP bets, button calls, i raise, others fold and those 2 call

river 4

I know that doesn't help either of them but i got a weird feeling here and decided to check, they both check so i think damn i missed a bet and turn over my 99 thinking i got this for sure....button turns over 6-8....yeah the button checked down his straight.

I lose a lot more money on this hand than you.

Preflop I raise. I most likely have the best hand with 5 callers, yah!

Flop I probably bet but I'm really really bad at betting into a field of players with a pair and an overcard to that pair on board. I'm supposing I should probably just be checking...

Turn, yah! I have a set, yah! There is no way I'm possibly letting this check thru; I lead and 3bet if possible. If someone has their straight already I've got lottsa outs for a fullhouse.

River I bet/call. Unless there's four to a straight or flush here I'm betting and making two pairs, high pair, overpairs, etc. pay me off. I have a set, yah!

I raise preflop w/99 in the SB. I'd lead the flop and reevaluate based on action behind. I try not to trust these weird feelings as a bet on the river is a must.
