Default AK high value bet

Button is unknown. SB is a 40/25 LAG and is also likely tilting.

I don't like it. If villain was raising for a free card then he either made a pair (45) or isn't calling anyway. I don't think you fold out any pairs, and I'm not sure enough worse A-highs call here.

I definitely don't think you are A) betting the best hand, and B) getting called by worse hands often enough for this to be a value bet. I c and the maybe call if the SB folds.

what worse hands are calling you here that makes this a value bet? AQ is the only one I can think of. Aren't you more likely to induce a bluff from a crappy hand then get a worst A or K high to make a call here?

Now you could make an argument that a bet might fold out worse hands, but I don't think that is the case either.

BT has you beat and he's calling a lot. I'd put him on: AQ+, A5, A4, A2, 44-TT

Can you really put him on A4 or A5 with preflop going three bet cap behind him. I mean that is a pretty ballsy raise on the flop with a gutshot and a most likely dominated ace. I think his most likely hands are 44-1010 that got scared of the J.

I don't like the bet but would c/c. Does anyone overcall if SB calls a bet from the button?

Grunching

I think you need to c/c fold to a raise. Chances one of them has a pair is too great in my opinion. What hands would call your bet? AQ? Maybe a medium A?

I would take the conservative option and check hoping to win the showdown.
