Re: 50NL : 88 TURN action
Looks like he's trying to reel you in with a huge hand like KK. We're getting 3:1 pot odds, need 4:1, but I think you could get huge monies from him on the river if you hit. Call.

Re: 50NL : 88 TURN action
You need 5:1 to call on the turn and you're only getting that if you get his entire stack almost every time you hit, which is unlikely since there will be 4 to the straight on the board. The 8 is a dubious out since he might already have a set, in which it case it would have massively negative implied odds, and would give him a straight if he has TT.
I'd think about folding pre-flop without a read. If he's pretty tight and only 3-bets big pairs, it's fine, since you will most likely stack him if you hit your set. But if he's 3-betting like AQ and AK, then even if you hit, you might not get anything out of him, in which case you really don't have the implied odds here. |

Re: 50NL : 88 TURN action
Flop call is bad, he's not betting anything you beat into 2 other players, even if it is only 5, and you don't have the implied odds to call in order to improve.
I call the turn and fold the river unless my hand improves. |
