With no reads this is a fold.

He's representing 86 or 66 (87 also got there), so your redraw doesn't exist and you have about 15-20% equity.

With reads it could be a different story, if he is the type of opponent to think A8 is the nuts here.

Your straight is probably worthless, you can only hope for K, T or 9. Which will give you the winning hand.
when you call, you got 19,50 left and he will put you allin on the river or call your river bet.
So on the turn, there is 41,75 in the pot and with him going allin or calling your riverbet of 19,50. You have 61,25 to 18 or 3.4:1 odds for your call.
There are 44 cards left with 9 outs, is 4.88:1 odds. This is a fold. if you put him on 66,87 or 86.
This depends on knowing your opponent, and you dont know him, so i would fold.

I'm also just a beginning Omaha player, so if anyone sees something wrong in my calculated odds.... well, I tried

Since you raised preflopp he doesn't need to have much more than an eight (and trips) so I would push this turn, if you are behind you have 9 outs. If you are worried of he having 86, 87 or 66 every time here maybe you shouldn't play SH PLO. I would almost never fold this, unless BB is extremly weak-tight.
