Default $1,000 Bank Roll

I'm playing NL Hold Em cash games.

OK, i'm up at $600 from $90. I'm thoroughly enjoying building my bankroll. But I do find it a wee bit stressful at times, so i've decided to take a break, at $1000 dollars (assuming I get there which is assuming plenty), remove whatever I make above that, for around six months.

So here is a(nother) bank roll question.

What should I be playing, cash games (only), with 1k in the bank? I don't even know what's standard, i've just been very very careful with my money.

Thanks for reading.

There are a ton of threads here regarding bankroll.

This is a nice, concise web page I found explaining it pretty well.

Do you even know if the OP means Lim or NoLim?? And, if you think he means NoLim: 50/1 is only 10 buy ins with 1k BR.

Most people feel 20 buy-ins is a small BR for No Lim. 30-40 buy ins seems to be a lot more common these days. I mean really - who wants to go busto, and have to deposit again with the current legislation SNAFU.

I would say you go 200 NL AT LEAST. So kick off some 200 NL.

25nl would be 40 BI's... a decent BR to start. I wouldn't play anything higher than 25nl w/a 1k BR. Continue to build your roll then move to 50nl...

I could lose half your bankroll playing $50NL in a weekend.......I would really stick to $25NL until you are very comfortable with your game and have enough money that losing a few buy-ins at $50NL wouldn't be too big of a deal.

If you have to ask this question, i really think that you should play well well inside your bankroll...

Play 25nl on 40 buyins, take a shot at 50nl when you got like 1500...if you're enjoying building a bankroll you dont want to ruin this by jumping up too early
