Default W_T_F vs. MKovner

Mkovner runs around 20/17 and I'm a little laggier. I'm generally known to be active PF and aggressive post but I haven't tangled with Kovner too much. I respect his game and recognize him from the PP days and have seen him play as high as 5/10 I think. Fairly solid overall though, not too tricky. We played this hand earlier:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $435.00
BB: $386.10
UTG: $522.50
MP: $526.60
Hero (CO): $603.60
BTN: $394.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $14.00</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises to $48.00</font>, 2 folds, Hero calls $34.00

Flop: ($102) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">BTN bets $75.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $555.60</font>, BTN calls all-in for $271.00
Uncalled bet of $209.60 returned to Hero

Turn: ($794) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

River: ($794) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $794.00 ($3 Rake)

BTN had K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Kings) and WON (+$397.00)
Hero had 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a pair of Sevens) and LOST (-$394.00)

With my image, I was ready to reluctantly stack off if he outflopped me. Turn was a tough one, but I felt that a c/r ai if he bet and if he checked to bet the river biggish would be better because that's how I would play a flush draw. But then WTF at the push. I feel like its a pretty stupid way to bluff, maybe he wants me to make a hero call?

<font color="red">UTG raises to $14.00</font>, 4 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $44.00</font>, UTG calls $30.00

Flop: ($90) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)

I would call. If he thinks you are bluffy wouldn't he bet smaller here with a big hand to give you room to c/r bluff?

the dynamics really change when I'm RRing an UTG raiser as opposed to CO v Button

u guys see that this is 150bb right? I might've raised a little more pre, as your current raise size sets him up perfectly to set mine your ass.

you are reading way to much into this, the turn check was to induce a bluff... now call, you are ahead of his pushing range
