Poker room playing card question
I've never been to a poker room in Vegas before and my local casino doesn't have poker ring games/tourneys (Montreal). I was wondering if paper or plastic cards were used in poker rooms? At my local casino they sell used paper cards with the casino logo on it for cheap. Are used plastic decks with the casino logos sold at Vegas casinos? I have several decks of plastic copags already but my friend is going to vegas and I wouldn't mind having a playable plastic deck with a major casino logo on it, but don't really want it if they're paper.

Re: Poker room playing card question
Almost all rooms use KEM plastic cards. Some go with cheaper brands. Never been in a room that used paper cards. They'd never last.
No used plastic decks available. |

Re: Poker room playing card question
I believe the Brazilian made COPAG cards were used at the WSOP last year. Some cardrooms use them. This year the WSOP is back to American made cards made on KEM card stock.

Re: Poker room playing card question
Most rooms use KEM cards. They're destroyed after they're used enough for markings and normal wear and tear.
