Wowowow, if you are going to 3-bet light, don't make the raise that big dude.

I'm not sure what the correct thing to do on the flop is...but I don't really like bet-call. As played, I would check-raise all in

I think you need to bet more on the flop.

meh i dont 3bet against this type of guy w/ such weak holding. Over 90 isnt a big enough sample to show a accurate attempt to steal plus this guy probably isnt foldin much to 3bets. As played your cbet is waayy too weak id bet like 10 and probably fold to a raise. Our draw isnt "big" its only an OESD plus there are 2 to the flush already on board so we might not even have 8 clean outs...

I think you should've folded preflop. With a 45vpip he's almost never folding a hand that he already open raised with. On the flop I think you should bet more, maybe $10. On the turn I'm check calling. I think on the turn I would open push after giving this much thought. He folds any bluff he had and may even fold a flush draw. I think you should push for however smallish fold equity that you have.

I'm very open to the advice of folding preflop here, but let's forget that for now.

Just wanted to point out that the effective stack sizes start at 68 BB which makes some of these plays a littly iffy IMHO, like C/R all-in on the flop and open pushing the turn.

Also I'd like more advice on my bet-sizing on the flop. I started consistently betting 1/2 pot in re-raised pots unless the board is very scary after seeing Gelford do it in a video and it's been working well.

[/ QUOTE ]I really think that in the future you should clarify you mean 68ptbbs because that confused the [censored] outta me. I also think I explained myself well in open pushing. You're not folding if he pushes, so do it yourself for the small amount of FE you may have. It pretty simple. Effective stack on the river is $40 and the pot is $57, push that [censored].

Stack sizes are more like 120BB here unless I'm missing something. As far as cbet sizes go in 3bet pots it depends a lot on board texture and your hand as well. In this hand you want to maximize fold equity on this flop so I'm more inclined to go for a 2/3 psb. On a dry board there is little reason for villain to call a 1/2 pot cbet unless he has a hand.

It really doesn't matter what our holding is when we three bet this guy since we are taking it down like %80 of the time post flop. I would three bet with 72o if I felt this guy was trying to steal. As for the flop, I usually bet 2/3 pot here.
I fold to the flop raise to since we have no FE if we shove.
