Default AKs near the bubble. Was my decision the right one?

This was the $5,5 tournament at Stars.
1301 players started the tournament. We're down to 17.

PokerStars (9 handed)
Blinds: 3000/6000/300

Seat 1: BB (67656 in chips)
Seat 2: UTG (50449 in chips)
Seat 3: UTG+1 (67028 in chips)
Seat 4: MP1 (203721 in chips)
Seat 5: MP2 (93273 in chips)
Seat 6: MP3 (97634 in chips)
Seat 7: Hero (80651 in chips)
Seat 8: Button (149660 in chips)
Seat 9: SB (185743 in chips)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img],K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls 6000, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises to 18000</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises all-in</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises all-in</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG+1 folds, MP2 folds.

All the players were playing tight. The re-raises all-in were not called unless someone had a very big hand or if the player all-in had a very short stack (range of the hands that I was expecting to call me was AJ+, TT+).

Was my pushing all-right or do you think there was a better strategy?

Does the fact that I have the 2 big stacks behind me yet to act changes the way I should play this hand?

What is the payout structure? If flat rate from 18-10, then push. If you're near a large jump in payouts, I might see folding. Otherwise, push

No man, you're playing for FT everytime. No folding when it's most critical to build a stack. Winning this hand (and you are ahead/coin flipping 90% of the time here. Sorry you ran into Aces or Kings) sets him up to make a run for real money, which makes 18-10 look like a pittance regardless of what it is.

your M = 7
taking pot here increases M by 3
play for first
double up will give you a prime stack to build on
