Default $550 live tounry

100 people entered and 10 places paid this is a pretty deep hand so help me out...
Blinds were 400-800 with 100 ante and would be going up next hand to 600-1200 200 ante my table was 9 handed with 26 people left in the tournament I was on the big blind here were the significant chip stacks before blind or ante
UTG+3 - 1700
Button - 7000
SB - 14000
Hero (bb) - 5800

I post the BB and ante
UTG+3 shoves all in for 1600 folds around to the button he calls 1600 SB calls 1600 also so there is 6500 in the pot and it cost me 800 to call I look down to JTos and I call the 800 with plans to shove a flop if I hit a pair or some kind of straight draw or something... so I call the 800. Flop come QT4 rainbow and I shove for 4100..

Is this the right play? Do you even call preflop with those odds or shove preflop or just fold preflop? thanks for the help

It depends on how tight the others have been playing, shoving into 4 players pre not sure if you have any FE here...but it is live and people tighten up as the bubble approaches...not to mention the "big" stacks in this hand would all be hurt badly if they call you and miss.

cliff notes...played fine
