Some might think I am too tight but I fold to that checkraise.

I actually think checking the flop is OK cos I think you're getting c/r'd a lot on this flop.
PS. I know his bets are weak, but what are you beating by the river? |

Re: How is my line? Button raise with A6
I might either call/fold/or raise like you did this preflop. On the flop I think I would have bet a little less like 5000, 5500. If he has an underpair he will stick no more money in it or just call once. If he is drawing to a flush he is still getting less then 1:3. With a vulnerable hand I don't want to let the pot explode. After his reraise, your call is good, he could be doing this with a straight or flushdraw or just to find out where hestands after you make a CBET. In the end i wouldn't be able to lay this down and hope for a chop. If you had bet less on the flop I think you would have saved your self about 15.000.

Re: How is my line? Button raise with A6
I like your raise preflop. I don't think there is any way you should be folding to his re-raise on the flop (without reads)... he could easily just be testing you with air or a lesser pp. Call down seems fine. Crappy river card appeared.

I actually think checking the flop ... [/ QUOTE ] I didn't address it but I agree with this. We have ended up with half our stack in the pot with a hand where we are only using one of our hole cards and we had position. That can't be a good thing. |

I really don't think you should check this flop, there are so many scared cards to come, any spade, any king, any jack and any eight, any nine, any ten. Just bet less.

I agree, you can't check this board. This board is connected, and suited... pretty much, giving a free card on this board is bad imo.

Re: How is my line? Button raise with A6
I check the flop ... why build a pot with Ace/rag?
and what kind of a value bet is that on the river by villian? Read dependant, I shove that |
