live 170$ WSOP ME satellite, flopped set call all in?

Ok, this is the 2nd day of the tournament. Field of 200 narrowed down to 40, starting with 10K in chips. Blinds are 30 min. levels and start at 1-200, 2-400, etc. It seems like this tournament will play somewhat fast, because the blinds increase quickly. Only top two players receive the $11,000 package to WSOP ME. No monetary overlay.

I have been active at the table, and won some small pots with pairs, and some with continuation bets.

In a previous hand, about 2 orbits earlier hand, I pickup TT in CO after MP3 limped in for 200. Pot was 500, I made it 800. Button re-raises 1200 more to 2000 total. Folds around to me, I call with my TT. Board comes 38Kr. I check, he shoves all in...I fold.

I have roughly about 16K at about 50minutes into the tournament, level II, 200-400 (no ante). When I engage in the following hand, with the same villain from the previous (TT)hand which I folded to his push.

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG bets t1400 , (6 folds), Hero calls t1000 (pot was t3400)

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (t200, 4 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets t3000, Hero raises t7500 (pot was t13900), UTG bets all in (pot was t24900). HERO (with t5500 behind) ???

Thoughts on preflop call (easy, right?), and thoughts about my flop check/raise. What to do about the push-all-in... any debate, or auto call?

i put him on a lot of hands, and yes TT could be one of them, but it includes broadway diamonds and JJ+. I dont get how this is even a question. Against one hand you are a 4% favourite to win, against overpairs you are 90% to win, and at worst he has QdJd and you are 55% to win.

You have the second nuts and 5500 chips after investing more than half your stack in a tournament that only pays the top 2
