Default Puerto Rico Cash Games

Will be visiting Puerto Rico in July, in San Juan but can travel. Where are the largest number of cash games, limit and/or no-limit? I saw a post about the Intercontinental, but it seemed to mostly be tourney games. Thanks for your reply!

Also saw the posting about the El San Juan. That looks like my best bet right now. Has anyone played there recently?

I think the El San Juan is where I played last August. No no limit -- as far as I know, you can't find it anywhere in San Juan. I think the game I played was 4/8 or 5/10 limit -- sorry, it's been a while, and I don't usually play limit. (This was my second time. My first time was my first time in a casino a year and a half ago.)

The players were the same as from what I've read about Vegas and other low-limit players. Some were decent, but most would try to draw to anything. I made $300 in about six hours (started with $100), and was pretty happy.

You won't find many tables going, but you'll find something.

I have been hyping the el san juan hotel ever since i moved back from puerto rico...5/10 limit is the norm. the ritz carilton is just down the beach and very nice too...just not as nice of eye candy and for the right price, arm candy...

if you can sneak away from san juan, the el conquistador hotel is nice and runs the same limit game.

Which has the most tables going on a Sunday through Tuesday? I'll get in late on Saturday, and will hit one of them, probably El San Juan.

No Poker at El San Juan in July '07.

There was a small room at El Conquistador just up the street from El San Juan on Avenida Isla Verde. Tournament each night, with 5/10 limit starting up later on when players start coming out of the tourney. Weekend seemed to have lots of tourists for 5/10 limit, so the game started earlier. Only saw 1 or at most 2 limit tables going. Play was generally loose and horrendous.
