Default NL100 - flop top set deep, what to do on river?

NL100 (.5/1) on WPEX. Villain in this hand has been calling my preflop raises a lot (we're both deep on this table). This has also been a frustrating session as Villain (and everyone else it seems) has been calling down with all kinds of crap and catching everything. However, the hand immediately before this one, I raised pf, Villain called, I cbet $6 and he folded.

So, the hand:

5 handed, eff. stacks $277

UTG folds, CO (Hero) raises to $3.50 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Button folds, SB (Villain) calls, BB folds

Flop 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Pot is ~$7.60, Villain checks, Hero bets $6, Villain calls

Turn 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Pot is ~$19, Villain checks, Hero bets $18, Villain calls

River 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Pot is ~$54, Villain checks, Hero...

I don't know if this is correct but I would check behind here because not too many worse hands are going to call a bet imo.

In the hand, I considered betting $36. How does Hero respond to each of:

Hero bets $36, Villain raises to $72

Hero bets $36, Villain raises to $90

Hero bets $36, Villain raises to $108

Hero bets $36, Villain raises to $150

Hero bets $36, Villain raises all-in to $250

I'm calling up to 90. The all-in is fishy and I might make it occasionally if I think I've got him pegged. But I doubt I'm calling 108 here.
