100NL - AQ - strong flop, but I play bad
I know I could have played this hand better. Should I have led the flop and 3-bet all-in if raised? Should I have re-raised pf? Folding the turn was horribly weak, wasn't it?

Re: 100NL - AQ - strong flop, but I play bad
You have to bet the flop to get money in the pot, if raised push. You have such a monster here. As played c/c the turn.
Checkraising would be giving up you showdown value with your really strong pair, since he wont call you with a worse made hand. Betting is bad since you could get pushed of your hand, sometimes even by a bare Kh, since a lead will look like a blocker. And youre right about c/f, totaly weak. |

Re: 100NL - AQ - strong flop, but I play bad
UTG+1 checked and you flopped good. I would really like to see you betting flop here.
betting is IMO far superior to your other options on flop c/c - theres a very good chance you are calling with the best hand. c/c Buttons bet leaves you OOP without initiative. Your putting yourself in a hard place if any card but the K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] lands on the turn. c/r - on this board a c/r looks very strong and you will most likely fold out hands you beat. As played folding turn for a ½pot bet with TPGK and 2NFD looks very weak. |
