micah bowie
since becoming a starter a month ago, he's 4-0 with a 3.6 era and a whip of 1.06. tonight, he's had seven strikeouts over 4 1/3 innings, but just got taken out after loading the bases. any reason this guy isn't a good fantasy pickup?

Re: micah bowie
He has a good minor league track record, but he's wicked old. What injury did he come back from? Tommy John? He's probably a decent bet, especially pitching for the Nationals in that stadium.

Re: micah bowie
Cubs traded for this guy like 8 years ago or something. He was supposed to be kind of a big deal in the Braves' org. a long time ago.

Re: micah bowie
he got the W tonight right?...go Nats! Well they are not good, but to see them do alright with the small $ and the numerous injuries shows that I think Acta may be a top manager...

Re: micah bowie
Not sure how deep your league runs, but Bowie projects to about a 4.93 ERA based on his indicators. You can probaably find guys who can produce that much with two starts every week.
