Default 100NL JJ in 3-bet Pot Yay

Unknown Villian, am I just being too afraid to stick it in with an overpair in rr pots lately?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $412.05
BB: $123.25
Hero (UTG): $101.50

BTN: $100.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
Hero raises to $3.50, 2 folds, SB calls $3.00, BB raises to $12.00, Hero calls $8.50, SB folds

Flop: ($27.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)

To me that c-bet is so weak, I'd raise it to 40 right there and call a push. Then again alot of villains try to price you in if they can narrow your range down to high PP's after you cold call 3bets. Id get it AI on the turn.

raising the flop to call a push is horrible....those smallish bets mean im scared or im huge...raising is wrong in both those places...as correclty played call turn and eval riv...prob fold to any real bet as he's not timidly betting the flop to then triple barrel big the river

Note the stack sizes. I will have 1/3 of the pot size left in my stack on the river if I call here.

a side note: Every once in a while, when im in villians position, I make a similar play with AK or AQ because I figure hero is weak enough to go through the exact thought process you are facing here. Reads in this spot are paramount, and I would have to have some table feel to really make a solid answer as to what to do on the turn here- a fold seems OK though
