Re: How to play KJ-KQ,AQ-A10 from button and cutoff ?
You have plenty of chips so AQ is a very easy raise.
KJ is a hand that is just gonna get you in trouble. It looks pretty but does not play that well. Postflop you usually win a small pot or loose your stack. AT would be pretty similar. Just fold these preflop. I might overlimp KQ but I think a lot on the forum prefer a fold. AJ - I'd limp or if you think your read is good go ahead and raise. |

Re: How to play KJ-KQ,AQ-A10 from button and cutoff ?
I'd raise AQ, probably AJ. I'd muck ATo or KJo, but limp along if they were suited. With just one limper, I'd probably raise KQ. It's very unlikely he has you dominated, and you may well have him dominated. Depends a bit on my opponent though.
If it's close between call and raise, I'm more likely to raise in the CO and call on the button, so (assuming button folds to the raise), I'll always be last to act. |
