I think a smaller bet would accomplish the same goal. You're probably only going to get call if you're beat.

Meh, it's ok because at least it's a semi-bluff with 6 outs, but I get looked up in this spot way too often.

a raise to 10 won't accomplish anything other than building up a big pot. He gets way too good odds, if you insist on raise make it 15-18$.

His range is: weak pp (33,44,55,66,88 and TT at best), pair (A2, A7, K9s and A9 at best), broadway (KT, KQ, AJ, KJ, AT).

The reason that he leads is because he has a little something. So the reason that we push is that he can't call. My range is 88,TT+ & AK; and he simply cannot take the gamble; he's too far behind my range.

If I raise him pot, he will call with a large portion of his range. The reason that he leads the flop is because he is able to play a medium sized pot. If he calls my flop raise the pot will grow, and he can start convincing himself to stick around; all of which would be spew on my part I think, given that he leads the flop after I reraise him pre.

Very read dependent IMO.
- if villain is very aggro and loose I like a float here. We might be ahead and have him dominated, I don't see him folding anything that beats us but the smaller PP.
- if villain has been doing that with weak pairs (a lot of villain take that line when they have a hand but they're not sure where they stand) raise to 17$ is pretty standard.
- if villain is loose passive I might fold this because we have very little FE, he could have a monster, and he might froze if an A or K hits on the turn.

Also I raise a bit more pf (around 6$).
